During our short stay in Paris, we also went to Rue Cambon where Gabrielle Coco Chanel's apartment is located and where her 1st boutique was opened in 1910. The whole building is cream colored and very beautiful and I can only imagine how gorgeous the inside must look like!
Unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet!), the boutique was closed due to holiday but we didn't come here for shopping anyway. Maybe next time ;-)

Did you know, that the bottle's stopper of the most known perfume "No.
5" which is cut like a diamond, is said to have been inspired by the
geometry of the Place Vendôme?
